We all know exercise is important, but for truck drivers, this is especially true. A day on the road can be tiring and kill the drive to workout. But there are a few ways to overcome this obstacle.
Truckers should develop an early-morning routine in order to make time for fitness. It doesn’t have to be long – only 15 or 20 minutes is enough time for a few well-executed exercises.
Running is an obvious option – anything from a jog to a few sprints makes a huge difference. Jumping rope offers a similar workout for the heart and lungs. Additionally, body weight exercises like push ups, sit ups and squats are a good way to round out a week’s routine.
